Good horror comedies are scarce and then they must also make sense as double fearture. No wonder, they are rather rare (and when is Død snø 1 + 2 finally on again?!). Well, thanks to THE REVENANT and COCKNEYS VS. ZOMBIES we can finally mistreat your retina with two zombie comedies again.

Before Alejandro G. Iñárritu and Leonardo DiCaprio cheekily stole the name in 2015, there was already A THE REVENANT in 2009. This REVENANT is also a historical drama, but set in Los Angeles in the 2000s. A fallen soldier returns undead from war and reunites with his best friend to combat drug-related crime. Practically, this also gives him the blood he needs to survive. Deep!

What do cockneys and zombies have in common? That's right: if you're not of the same type, you don't understand a word. But that would also be it with similarities. In the zombie comedy COCKNEYS VS. ZOMBIES (2012), two brothers want to save their grandfather's retirement home in London East End with money from a bank robbery. What began as a bad idea anyway is made worse by a zombie infestation. Gangsters and pensioners must fight together to survive. Or is it the zombies who must fight to survive? Piss off, you muppets!
