The “OMNI International AI Film Festival” deals with algorithmically generated content in filmmaking and has put together a one-hour showcase for BRUGGGORE.

Featuring works by new and established filmmakers, audiences can see the compelling and fantastic in this one hour showcase featuring filmmakers from around the world working at the edge of visualization. As artificial intelligence rapidly reshapes how images are created and narratives are constructed, OMNI brings audiences into direct contact with the artists and defining dialogue this fast-evolving cultural frontier.”
Can original ideas even arise if they are based on stolen data sets? Have filmmakers not always taken on a pioneering role when it comes to new technologies? Should we offer a platform for AI content, or should all of this be banned?
I am convinced that as a film festival we have the task of raising these questions, while we all have the duty to address them. If we don't, technology will exploit, manipulate, overrun us and, who knows, make us obsolete sooner or later. We are interested in your opinion!
