Program partnership with KULTMOVIEGANG
The residents of Pebbles Court, a town somewhere in Australia, are involuntarily abused as guinea pigs by a pharmaceutical company. The experimental miracle drug works perfectly and turns the inhabitants into disgusting mutants that dissolve, decompose and explode.
Together with our friends from KULTMOVIEGANG, we mistreat your vision devices with a double drone of disgusting films. Grab popcorn and a few beers for a true slime & dine. BODY MELT is exactly what the title promises. Melt horror with a spectacularly high trash factor that could almost make STREET TRASH (1987) jealous. Ozploitation at its best, with lots of black humor, sensational practical effects and an easy-to-digest pinch of social criticism. Too bad, director Philip Brophy hasn't pleased us with a new work since SALT, SALIVA, SPERM AND SWEAT (1988).
BODY MELT will be shown as a double-the-slice feature together with THE GREASY STRANGLER.
