Shinsuke Kujo is a chair designer. When looking for the perfect design, people around him have to die, again and again. That is what this movie is about.
Some film texts are easier to write, some more difficult. Experts on Japan could certainly write lengthy papers about INCOMPLETE CHAIRS, about what chairs, seating and furniture in general mean in Japan and what types of social traumas the main actor deals with in his art. Perhaps sooner or later we will find someone who will write such texts for us. Until then, the plot remains uncommented. In return, we would like to point out the crazy ideas, the surprisingly versatile and brutal effects, and express the assumption that THE HOUSE THAT JACK BUILT (2018) would probably feature chairs by Shinsuke Kujo.
