MAD MASK by Japanese comedian Nagano and director Katsuya Arai is a dirty 16 mm look anarcho-splatter sketch comedy and a hot contender for the most absurd film at the BRUGGGORE Filmfestival 2026. The film is based on an old skit by Nagano. Quick cuts, pumping techno beats, grindhouse aesthetics and over the top gore effects. That's roughly how the film can be summarized.
