Even our parents taught us not to put everything in our mouths. Unfortunately, sometimes in life you don't have any other choice.
SWALLOWED (2022) is one of those films that is likely to trigger an involuntary gag reflex among some viewers. Set somewhere between a buddy movie, an escalating drug deal and sheer horror. Swallowed is an unpleasant movie, raw and authentic. Hard to digest, in something like what the protagonists have to incorporate.
